When booking a flight to our first destination, we will be happy to help you find a reasonably priced flight without any additional service charges on our part. The most northwestern island of Indonesia offers truly WORLDCLASS DIVING with clear waters and impressive underwater landscapes. CROWDED BY MARINE LIVE!
PULAU WEH offers from spectacular full-adrenaline dives to long slow relaxed macro spotting dives.
On ONE average dive, you can easily log a dozen of morays (of maybe even five or more different species), loads of lionfish, beautiful sea fans, hunting trevallies, neon rivers of fusiliers and a couple of stingrays and maybe an octopus or two. And depending on the location, time and current, it’s quite likely to add tuna, barracuda, sharks (white tip, black tip and occasionally a grey reef or thresher shark), Napoleon wrasse, bump head parrotfish, big groupers, giant reef ray or, quite frequently, manta or eagle rays to your list! Occasionally Mola Molas come up to get cleaned in the Canyon and in season the whale sharks feed during plankton blooms. The most colourful nudibranches, ghost-pipe fishes, pegasus, tiny seahorses, crocodile fishes and squat lobsters can be spotted when going “macro”.
The main dive sites are in Pulau Weh’s Marine National Park and reached within a short time! Usually surface intervals can be done relaxed back on the beach, allowing for maximum flexibility in programming dives according to your wishes.
Comfortable LIVING
We are accommodated in the stylish comfortable resort with a relaxed atmospheric garden behind the dive center. The large garden is directly bordering the beach and has lots of nature/wildlife - butterflies, fresh water turtles, kingfishers, flying & monitor lizards, red-legged crabs and more.
The diver-friendly Living Room units are very spaciously set up with warm wood and clean ceramic, with a living area, choice of a King bed or Twin beds, a wall fan, optional A/C, a desk, an en-suite bathroom with western toilet & hot shower (some with bath) and a small kitchen area with a water kettle, a fridge, cups & plates and a large wooden veranda with a bench and a hammock.
Usually their rooms are eco-friendlier, quite cool thanks to an cool sea-breeze without AC, but you can still choose AC @ a surcharge.

There is a popular Restaurant on resort premises.
Beer available in the dive-shop that can be brought to the restaurant or on to the beach.

In beach restaurants, there’s choice from local Acehnese and general Indonesian food, tropical fruit salads and some basic Western food.
OUR BEACH AND HOUSE REEF!
Gapang Beach is a unique beach, with white sand halfway around the bay, surrounded by large overhanging trees - the “Gapang” trees.
So you can choose to sit on the beach in the sun, or in the shade of these grand old trees.
With a great house reef with couple of resident turtles in the bay, aperfect place for snorkeling and long relaxed shore dives!
OUR DIVE CENTER
The dive centre established since many years, highly professional and friendly staff, providing great service and always make very small groups guided by local professionals to cater for the differences in the divers experiences and interests!
You can always add some dawn, noon, late afternoon or night dives on the house reef. Easy going and great for macro and night-dives!
The dive centre is nicely set with plenty of space to sit, to socialize, read, browse through fish books, and provides free internet / WIFI
Free tea and drinking water refills in the dives-shop.
Beer available to buy at the dive centre and can be brought to the restaurant at our premises at the beach.
THE BOATS
Our dive centre has 3 fibre speedboats in best technical condition, roofs for shade and 2 specially built wooden boats, customized for diving with tank racks and seats. It’s comfortably for our small group. Emergency Oxygen, First Aid kit, etc. for your safety.
DIVING CONDITIONS
The landscapes and marine life on all sites are magnificent and different from each other. Average visibility is 20+ meters, often to 30m, Water temperature is usually 28-29 C, with sometimes colder upwellings with extremely clear viz of over 40m!
SCHEDUAL
Usually at 9:00 AM in the morning with the boat or the car to the other side of the island. We can enjoy the surface interval with lunch on beaches or in a restaurant and heading for the second dive out at around 1:30 PM.
To get a more detailed impression of the diving, we have created a separate, detailed description of some of the sites out of a big choice of 20 amazing dive sites.

Day 1
Meeting point Kuala Lumpur Malaysia in the hotel near the international airport Kuala Lumpur.
After the check in day at leisure.
Options: Petronas Tower, Batu Temple, China Town etc.
Day 2
After breakfast transfer to Kuala Lumpur Airport.
The flight approx. 1.5h takes us over the street from Mecca to Sumatra past the partly still active volcanoes to Banda Aceh in Indonesia.
At the airport we are picked up and brought to the port.
from there it goes on with the ferry in approx. 2h to Pulau Weh from there it goes into our accommodation. Check in and relax.
Day 3-7
After breakfast we go diving or snorkeling. The choice of dive sites will be discussed and announced the evening before.
Snorkelling is possible everywhere in front of the place and also in front of the accommodation.
Every day 2 dives are included.
Optionally Sunset or night dives can be booked every day.
Day 8
Day Free day.
Day 09
After breakfast we will be taken to the ferry and transfer to Banda Aceh.
After check in at our hotel in Banda Aceh we visit the Tsunami Museum and see the effects like boats standing around somewhere. Visit the Baiturrahman mosque (women are asked not to walk around in a straps T-shirt and cover their legs)
Dinner and impressions of Banda Aceh to take effect.
Day 10
Return flight to Kuala Lumpur.
