Travel programme

 

Day 1 Pick up from the airport after leaving the airport you will experience the smells of Bali for the first time, then after the money exchange transfer to Padangbai and recover from the stress of travelling.

 

Padang Bai is a fishing village. The inhabitants are mostly Hindus. Due to the busy ferry traffic with the neighbouring island of Lombok the percentage of Muslims is about 10 %. The mosque stands directly in front of the ferry pier.

 

 All dive sites in Padangbai have something special and are recommendable. Whether fish, cuttlefish, octopus, shrimps, crabs or nudibranchs in the most different variations - in the waters around Padangbai you will find everything. Of course, there is also no shortage of hard and soft corals, feather stars and anemones with their small inhabitants.

 

 Day 2 After breakfast dive 1 in Padangbai in the morning.

 

Dive 2 in Padangbai followed by exploring Padangbai and deco beer on the beach.

 

Day 3. After breakfast dive 1 by boat.

Snack on board followed by dive 2 (if desired full-day excursion to Manta point extra charge 50Euro to be paid on site)

 

Day 4. after breakfast we will be picked up and head for Tulamben, on the way we will visit a beautiful water temple where we will stay for a moment and then we will drive up to a temple with a great view of the volcano. We continue through beautiful rice terraces to Tulamben where we check-in and have a late lunch. Optionally it is possible to do a sunset dive for an extra charge.

 

A DIVING AREA FULL OF ATTRACTIONS AND FASCINATION

 

Tulamben is a small village in the northeast of this fascinating island in the Indian Ocean, which is especially famous for its diving area. The diving area gained special attention because of the shipwreck USS Liberty, a supply ship of the United States Army, which was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine on January 11, 1942. The attempt to tow the destroyed ship to the port of Singaraja failed on the way. The wreck was left on the beach and was gutted for almost 20 years until it was torn from the lava masses to a depth of up to 30 metres on the seafloor during the Gunung Agung volcanic eruption in 1963. Today the shipwreck is heavily overgrown with hard and soft corals and has become a popular and interesting diving destination. However, the marine waters in front of this village offer other attractive and fascinating dive sites, opening up a world of biodiversity of fantastic colourful marine life, coral reefs and interesting rock formations.

 

Day 5. after breakfast dive 1 after lunch dive 2 and before dinner night dive or on request sunset dive. Tulamben is also great for snorkelling for non-divers guided snorkel tour above the wreck.

 

Day 6 Early morning dive before breakfast at the wreck, back we enjoy breakfast and in the morning dive 2 and in the afternoon dive 3

 

Day 7. transfer to Lovina driving us over rice terraces up to waterfalls up in the Kintamani area where we have lunch overlooking Lake Batur and views of the Agung and Batur volcanoes on the tour we will visit temples, viewpoints and a waterfall.

Day 8 Bali  Lovina Dolphin tour in the early morning after transfer to Pemuteran. After Check In  Relax or ...

 

Day 9. After breakfast dive 1 in Pemuteran after lunch dive 2

Afterwards relax at the pool, optional sunset or night dive (mandarin fish dive)

Day 11. After breakfast, we go by boat/minibus to Menjangan National Park where we do 2 dives. In the extreme northwest of Bali lies the protected island Nusa Menjangan. A coral census conducted by Jacques-Yves Cousteau in 1963 showed that there are more coral species around this small island than in the whole Caribbean. Because of its sheltered location, the dive sites are easy to dive. Something small to eat is available between dives. Snorkelling is also great in Menjangan National Park.

 

Day 12 Transfer to Ubud we drive over the mountains along lakes. We visit waterfalls, temples, monkey forest and take a 30-minute boat ride. In Ubud, it is possible to rent a scooter to be mobile but be careful when driving. Transfer by taxi is also a good option and not expensive.

 

Day 13. Enjoy Ubud with a walk in the rice terraces or shopping, Ubud gives a lot of culture in the whole area. In the evening we visit a Balinese dance performance and let us seduce by the flair of Ubud with its countless restaurants.

 

Day 14 Check Out in Ubud Transfer to the airport or Kuta/Sanur.
